Keto Protein Bread
1 Loaf (8 slices)
The Keto Protein Bread is great way to meet the all important daily protein intake for your optimal health. High in protein and low in fat, this bread is suitable for those who are especially looking to lose body fat and optimize their body composition. It has a great P:E ratio (protein to energy) at 2.0. It features a great structure which holds up brilliantly to accompany all your meals and for all purposes. Soft in the middle and crusty on the outside with a lovely coconut taste, it will surely please and satisfy you. Only 4.5g net carbs per 100g. Enjoy it on its own or with your favourite keto jams. Gluten free.
Divide the egg whites into two portion of 250g each. Set one portion aside.
Whip one portion of egg whites till you get stiff peaks.
Mix the dry ingredients together - coconut flour, baking powder, salt.
Add yoghurt, apple cider vinegar and the second portion of egg whites into the dry mixture. Mix well.
Add the beaten egg whites into the bread mixture and combine well.
Pour into a loaf pan (21.5cm x 9-11cm / 8.5inch x 3.5 - 4.5inch) and bake at 175 degrees celsius for 50 minutes.
For an additional boost, add collagen powder.
