Low Carb Pasta with Keto Homemade Pesto Sauce
Keto Pasta, Keto Sauce
We are using the Heart Reduced-Carb Wheat Fusilli Pasta in this recipe. This is such a simple and quick dish that you can make any time of the day, especially on a week night when you don't have too much time to cook. Its satisfying and totally keto-friendly. The pesto can be pre-made and stored in the refrigerator. If you are like me, loving everything fresh, then prepare it on the same day.
Blend the basil and pine nuts.
Add the garlic and cheese and blend.
Pour the olive oil into the mixture slowly while keeping the food processing running.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add a generous amount of salt to water and bring to boil.
Add the pasta and boil for 6-10 minutes depending on how soft you like it.
Drain the pasta.
Add the pesto sauce to the pasta.
Grate Parmesan cheese on top of the pasta, and add some fresh basil leaves.
Toss to mix the sauce in and ENJOY!
